Drainage & Grading in Chester County, PA

Standing water, soggy lawn, or water heading toward your foundation? We fix where the water goes.

Chester County clay soil and heavy spring rain make drainage the most common problem we get called about. Water pooling in the yard, a wet basement wall, mulch washing out of beds, or a lawn that stays spongy for days after a storm all come back to the same thing: water has nowhere to go.

We start with a walk-through to find where water is entering and why it’s not leaving. Then we quote the actual fix, whether that’s a French drain, a regrade to move water away from the house, a dry well, or extending downspouts underground. No upsell, no oversized system you don’t need.

What It Costs

Buried downspout extensions typically run $400–$1,200. Regrading a problem area is usually $800–$3,000. French drains run $2,000–$8,000 depending on length, depth, and where the water can go. Every quote is a fixed written price after a free on-site assessment. Read the French drain cost guide or how we build French drains. Town pages: Downingtown · Exton · Coatesville · Chester Springs.
