Fall Cleanup in Chester County

Seasonal yard cleanup for Chester County homeowners. Estimates are free.

What a Fall Cleanup Is

Seasonal yard cleanup based on your property’s size, access and the amount of leaves and landscape debris to be removed.

Chester County properties vary a great deal — a small open lot on a quiet street and a wooded acre backing onto mature oaks are different jobs, even in the same neighborhood. So rather than sell a fixed package, we look at the property and quote the work in front of us.

When you request an estimate, tell us roughly how much leaf and debris volume you are dealing with and what you would like done with it. We will confirm in writing exactly what is included before any work is scheduled, so there is no guessing on either side.

What May Affect the Estimate

  • Property size and the area actually being cleaned — the whole lot, or the lawn and front beds only
  • Volume of leaves and landscape debris — light, moderate or heavy, and whether it is still falling
  • Tree cover — a wooded or heavily treed lot generates far more material than an open one
  • Access — gate widths, steps, steep sections and how close a truck or trailer can get
  • Where the material goes — moved to a wood line or curbside for township collection, or removed from the property
  • Timing — one cleanup after the leaves have finished dropping, or more than one pass through the season

We will tell you which of these applies to your property and what we have quoted for. If something is outside what we do, we will say so rather than quote around it.

Our Work

How to Get Ready

  • Move cars, bins, hoses and garden furniture off the areas to be cleaned if you can
  • Let us know about gate codes, locked side gates or a dog in the yard
  • Point out anything fragile — low-voltage lights, irrigation heads, young plantings, hidden edging
  • Tell us if there is an area you would rather we left alone
  • If leaves are still coming down heavily, it is worth talking about timing before booking

Common Questions

When should a fall cleanup be done?

It depends on your trees. Properties with mostly maples are usually finished dropping earlier than those with oaks, which can hold leaves well into late fall. If you want one cleanup, later is generally better; if the volume is heavy, more than one pass may make more sense. We will give you an honest read when we look at the property.

What is included in my cleanup?

That is set on your written estimate rather than by a standard package, because properties differ so much. Tell us what you want done and we will confirm the scope in writing before scheduling.

Do you take the leaves away?

Removal from the property is quoted separately from moving material to a wood line or to the curb for township collection, because the cost is very different. Tell us which you want when you request your estimate.

Do I need to be home?

No, as long as we have access and you have told us anything we need to know about the property.

Do you do spring cleanups as well?

Yes. Ask when you request your fall estimate and we can talk about spring at the same time.
